~ Maternity Session – Kelli ~

For my first session of 2010 I got to photograph Kelli. She is such a beautiful pregnant woman! Can you believe she is 38 weeks?? Her little baby girl will be here any day now and I am going to get to photograph her too. We lucked out with a slightly warmer day so we got to do some outdoor photos too. Kelli has a loving husband and two beautiful step-daughters that joined in on the photo shoot too. We had so much fun. Thank you for letting me spend the day with you and I can’t wait to meet your baby girl!

Photo Contest 2009

I am doing a photo contest!! This is how it works: I have selected my favorite photograph from each session that I did in 2009 and put them in an album called Photo Contest on facebook. You can “vote” for a photo by posting a comment about the photo (one post per person per photo will be counted). The photo will the most comments wins the client in the photograph a free 16 x 20 wall print! I thought this would be a fun way to showcase the sessions I have done so far this year. It has been a great first two and half months in business and I am so excited about all things 2010 will have in store for me!

Landen and family!

This session was all about little Landen turning one! He is so cute and he reminded me so much of my little one year old. He was so happy and did not seem to be afraid of anything or anyone! We had so much fun running around Historic Grapevine and we got really lucky with a warm day in December. Mom and dad jumped in a few pictures and I am so glad they did. They were super photogenic and an adorable family! They also brought a cake for Landen to dig into but he was not too interested in it =P. Thank you for letting me spend the afternoon with y’all. I had so much fun! I had so many favorites from this session. I put more on my facebook page but here are my favorites of the favorites =). Oh, and have I mentioned that I LOVE redheads?? =)

~Baby Claire~

Last week I got to photograph sweet little Claire! She is two months old and such a cutie. She had a rough few weeks after birth so they didn’t get to do a newborn session so we did somewhat of a newborn session with two month old pictures. I promised mom and dad she will still look just as tiny when they are looking back a few years from now. This was a fun session because all of us went to high school together and it was so fun to catch up! Mom and dad were pros already and so laid back and comfortable. Thank you some much for entrusting me with your little sweetheart. She is so full of personality and I can’t wait to take more pictures of her!

~The Klahr Family~

This weekend I got to photograph the adorable Klahr family! They have a one year old little boy (and you know I have a thing for one year old boys =) ) and they have another little boy on the way! Little Aiden was so cute and smiley! I didn’t even have a helper with me and look at all of the awesome smiles we got. He was such a happy little guy and you can tell there is a lot of love in this family. We were a little too late in the season for fall colors but we got lucky and had slightly warmer than average weather for December. We had so much fun around the park and mom was a trooper getting up and down off the ground! I can’t wait to photograph them again with their new little boy! Thank you guys for being so fun and laid-back.

~Baby Averi & Family~ Newborn Session

This past weekend I got to photograph Baby Averi. She is so adorable! This session was special because her mom and I used to work together and hadn’t seen each other in about 5 years! That was way too long! We keep up with each other via the internet but it was so nice to see her again. I didn’t get to stay and visit because I had a cold and had to wear a mask during her session so I didn’t want to stay around and infect everyone =). Avery has 3 adorable siblings and they already love her so much and are so sweet to her. All of their kiddos are so cute and well-behaved. They were a joy to photograph! Mom and Dad were pros and so laid back.. you can tell they have done this a few times! =) Thank you for letting me come spend some time with you and baby Averi. Let’s not wait 5 years again! =)
